Inspired by the Grateful Dead’s 1980 Mill Valley acoustic set that spread joy for kids and families facing muscular dystrophy, Grateful Dads brings together local Marin fathers of neurodiverse kids (ages 6–13) in a dad-centered space, right where it all happened.

Understanding neurodivergence reshapes how your whole family functions.  And this one’s for dads: a place to gather, build community, gain insight, and get practical, expert coaching for families with ADHD.  Together. Dads. Another Marin County first.

Once in a while you get shown the light

in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

November 2025 Cohort 3 Parents Say: â€‹

  • "I love the ease and balance that I feel rippling through our home. I love that my boys are proud of me and that they feel a difference."

  • "This will provide you with tools to implement immediately, and connect you with a mindset that will help you to feel confident, after maybe you felt like you lost hope."

  • "I loved how practical it all was for specific situations, it has definitely helped improve our family dynamic."

  • "I would say it really helps me understand my son in a different way and empowers me as a parent to help him in ways where I previously felt more helpless."

  • "The power of choice... the choice to PAUSE, was so present and powerful through the whole cohort experience. This was the most helpful reminder to me, that I can slow down."
